Last year we had glitter lips, eyelashes, roots and even beards, but this year the beauty world has taken festive make-up a step further and created one winning two-tone look.
The brainchild of some very clever make-up artists on Instagram, the season’s biggest beauty trend takes inspiration from our favourite sugary snack: the candy cane.

The good ol’ stick of mint sugar has inspired a tasteful twist on our trusty winged eyeliner with a red and white striped design that is sure to get you in the festive mood.
Make-up artist Sarah Iniguez explains the look is easier than it looks, all you need is white eyeliner, a precision brush and some red eyeshadow.
You can even add in some glitter if you’re feeling extra fancy.
