You can now buy a £14 version of Meghan Markle's engagement ring
It’s already been more than five months since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged and we eagerly found out everything about Markle’s ring.
At an estimated value of £50,000, the ring features diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal collection and a centre stone from Botswana on a yellow gold band.
However much we dream of having such a diamond ring of our own, not many of us have £50,000 lying around.
Which is why Argos has swooped in and saved the day by offering a budget-friendly version of Markle’s rock.
Argos launched a replica of the ring yesterday called the ‘Meghan Sparkle’ ring, and it costs a very reasonable £14.99.
Emerald cut cubic zirconia is set between two sparkling stones on a yellow gold-plated band, making a replica of Markle’s real diamond-and-gold version.
The limited edition piece has been designed by Buckley of London, and comes in a gift box detailing the London skyline and the date of the royal wedding.
It’s available in Argos stores across the country, and we can only assume that it’ll sell out quickly, so whip that catalogue out.
Argos missed a once-in-a-lifetime rhyming opportunity by not calling it a ‘Markle Sparkle’ ring, however.
