Bum bags for boys: The ultimate hands-free accessory is back with a bang
Fanny pack, bum bag or belt bag: Whatever you call it, one thing’s for sure – you’ll be digging yours out and wearing it again soon (and not just at festivals).
London Fashion Week Men’s has proved that the ultimate 80s and 90s accessory is back. Again. The hands-free bag made a brief comeback in 2016 when Alexander Wang reworked the throwback fashion in suede. Shortly after, Karl Lagerfeld sent numerous models down the catwalk at Chanel wearing a version of the trend.
But this weekend at LFWM SS18, the accessory proved it’s more relevant than ever. We spotted dozens of style-savvy males rocking bum bags – both on and off the catwalk.
So, can you see yourself working the trend?
