Company offers employees time off to masturbate
For a large number of us, it can prove tricky convincing our bosses to let us take time off for last-minute getaways and family events.
But employees at LELO UK are being actively encouraged to take the day off to masturbate.
The leading sex toy brand has become the first company in the UK to allow its workers to schedule in ‘self-love days’ with the belief that it can help boost productivity and happiness in the office.
On their days off, employees are encouraged to enjoy themselves with nothing but orgasms to tick off from their to-do list.
Ahead of the announcement, the company carried out a survey of over 2,000 workers across the UK on what makes them feel fulfilled.
According to findings, 78% of participants believe orgasms make them happier – whether from self-pleasure or with a partner.
A further 66% stated that they are more productive after having an orgasm with 40% believing that they can benefit from the productivity-boosting effects of an orgasm up to five days afterwards.
Rachael Nsofor, a spokesperson for the company, revealed: “Being sexually fulfilled and satisfied is something that we at LELO UK feel is a basic human right and it’s completely free!”
“As a result of this research, we’re delighted to introduce a new initiative where we are offering our UK employees the opportunity to take up to four days a year as a ‘self-love day’.”
According to the NHS, orgasms can help us to tackle the pressures of everyday life with a recent study indicating that regular sex or masturbation can lower stress levels.
But would you take holiday for some well-deserved ‘me time’?
