Bride's amazing makeover after losing 60kg before her big day
An inspiring bride-to-be has revealed what led her to shift more than 60 kilograms (approximately nine and a half stone) in the lead up to her big day.
Joanna Colefax made the admission on Davina McCall’s reality show ‘This Time Next Year’ after being told by doctors her weight of 155kg could see her life drastically cut short.

Adding to the motivation was the Australian nurse’s plans to wed her longtime love Glenn, and wanting to be there to see her 12-year-old son Jesse grow up.
“This time next year I’ll be a beautiful bride,” she told host Karl Stefanovic and the show’s live studio audience.
Wedding day dream
Joanna went on to explain it was her size stopping her from believing she could be ‘beautiful’ on her wedding day - a goal which would partly be achieved through surgery.
“I’m having a gastric sleeve done, which will reduce my eating and help me lose weight [and] I want a better life.”
True to her words, 12 months later Joanna debuted her stunning bridal look in front of the show’s audience.

“You look amazing!” Karl exclaimed to his studio guest, before asking if she feel like she had planned to on her big day.
“Yes, I was a beautiful bride,” she responded.
“It was everything I had dreamt of,” she said. “It was lovely to look beautiful on my wedding day.”
Joanna now plans to have her size 28 wedding dress altered to fit her new size 14 frame for when she and Glenn finally tie the knot.
Last week, a man shared his incredible time lapse weight loss video.
The footage shows Billy Richards, 25, running on a treadmill while topless, in a series of videos taken over eight months. It shows him losing an impressive three stones.
