Boy goes viral after he upstages mum’s proposal by peeing in background

‘When you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go’ is a phrase we can all appreciate, meaning three-year-old Owen Anter is very relatable today.

When Kevin Przytula, 33, proposed to his longterm girlfriend Allyssa Anter, 27, in Michigan on Saturday, he was upstaged by Anter’s son Owen who needed to pee.

In a video that has now gone viral, Przytula can be seen popping the question while down on one knee at the exact moment the three-year-old pulls down his trousers behind him.

As Anter gleefully gets up to embrace her new fiancé, the pair are gleefully unaware her son is answering nature’s call right behind them.

The videographer, Pryztula’s 11-year-old daughter Kayleigh, is the first to notice Owen’s actions and starts hysterically giggling.

She then alerts the couple once they’ve stopped hugging by saying, “You guys…”

The newly-engaged couple then turn around to find Owen baring his bum at them after finishing going to the toilet.

“Oh my God he’s peeing, are you serious?” Przytula says laughing.

Anter told the Bay City Times: “He stole the show, for sure.”

She explained her son hasn’t quite grasped potty training.

“He pees outside at home sometimes in the yard, and we went and got ice cream the other day and he did it in the parking lot there,” she said.

“He just does it without telling anybody, he just pulls his pants down and goes.”
