Blogger's powerful post reminds us to wear whatever we want at the gym

During a workout, the only thing on your mind should be completing it with flying colours.

Most definitely not what you’re wearing or how you look to others.

Which is why body positive blogger Louise posted a seemingly-ordinary side-by-side photo to Instagram featuring herself both in a long-sleeved workout top, and a sports bra.

Most importantly, with the caption ‘acceptable gym outfit’ underneath each.

Raise your hand if you are guilty of always wanting to show yourself from your best angle It is perfectly normal. We aren't on Instagram to look for ugly faces to admire all day long Yet, I am not here to pretend to be someone I'm not. I'm human. Yes, I work hard at the gym; and I'm proud of the fruits of my labour. I love to share with you my progress. But it also includes to my opinion showing you I don't walk around with abs 24/7, and that you should not let yourself down after seeing hot women all over Instagram. Picture them going to the toilets. On est pas sur Insta pour aller rechercher des têtes moches à admirer sur notre feed Mais je ne suis pas là non plus pour prétendre être quelqu'un que je ne suis pas. Oui; je m'entraîne dur à la salle; et je suis fière des fruits de mon travail. J'aime partager avec vous mes progrès. Mais cela implique aussi vous montrer que je ne me balade pas avec des abdos 24/24, et que vous ne devriez pas vous sentir abattue après avoir stalké des filles trop hot sur Instagram. Imaginez les aux toilettes. Vous devriez vous sentir mieux après ❤️

Why? Because Louise recently met a woman accused of ‘showing off her body’ for wearing a sports bra at her gym.

“As I was doing my deadlifts in the crossfit room today, a girl walked in,” she recalled.

“She started practicing (sic) her pull ups.

“Counting her, we were 2 women and 5 men in the room.

“I saw her getting really sweaty as time passed, but she was keeping her long sleeves top on.”

Stand proud. We tend to always look at what is going wrong. Not being able to finish a work on time. Not nailing every workout at the gym. Not eating 100% healthy all week long. . . PERSPECTIVE. I propose you to change perspective right now. Think about 3 big accomplishments you have done the past months. Passing a degree ? Helping your grand parents out ? Upping your squat game ? You have probably accomplished more than you think. And just waking up tomorrow and be willing to do better than you did yesterday is a reason enough to be proud of yourself. . . So stand proud my friends. I am definitely proud of each and everyone of you _______________________________________ Soyez fiers. On a souvent tendance à regarder ce qui ne va pas. Ne pas finir un travail à temps. Ne pas faire une bonne séance. Ne pas manger 100% sain toute la semaine. . LA PERSPECTIVE. Voilà ce que je vous propose de changer tout de suite. Pensez à 3 accomplissements que vous avez réalisé ces derniers mois. Passé un diplôme ? Aidé vos grands parents ? Augmenter votre charge au squat ? Vous avez surement accompli plus que vous ne le pensez. Et rien que vous réveiller demain et de vous dire que vous ferez encore mieux que vous ne l'avez hier, est une raison suffisante pour être fier. . Donc soyez fier de vous. En tout cas, je suis vraiment fière de chacun d'entre vous

So once they were both in the locker room, she asked the woman why she was wearing such covering clothing while the gym was so hot.

To which the woman hesitated and answered: “‘I do not feel comfortable wearing a sport bra at the gym since a guy told me I wanted to show off my body'”

“EXCUZEEEE ME. I was so pissed off,” Louise wrote.

“I almost asked her which guy told her this so I could give him a little pep talk.

“So guys can train shirtless but women would not have the right to work out in a sports bra?

Do not let anyone tell you how you should behave. Sports bra have been created FOR this purpose, so please, do not feel ashamed wearing it at the gym, especially when it is so warm. For your health, for you comfort, and even more simply for yourself ______________________________________ ❗️PARLONS DE QUELQUE CHOSE D'IMPORTANT RAPIDEMENT ❗️ Alors que je faisais mes soulevés de terre dans la salle de Crossfit cet après-midi, une autre fille est entrée. En la comptant, on était 2 femmes pour 5 hommes. Elle commença à travailler ses tractions, et je voyais qu'elle transpirait de plus en plus, mais elle gardait son haut à manches longues sur elle. . Dans les vestiaires, j'ai vu qu'elle avait une brassière de sport en dessous. Je lui ai demandé : "Pourquoi tu as gardé ton haut quand tu t'entraînais ? Il faisait tellement chaud !" Elle a eu une hésitation, puis a répondu : "Je n'ose plus me mettre en brassière depuis qu'un mec m'a dit que je voulais juste montrer mon corps" . PARDON !!! AI-JE MAL ENTENDU !! J'ai failli lui demander quel mec lui avait dit ça pour lui toucher deux mots. Alors comme ca les mecs pourraient s'entrainer torse nu et nous on ne pourrait pas se mettre en brassière ? . ET BIEN JE PEUX VOUS DIRE QUE SI. Les brassières de sport ont été crée à cette fin, donc par pitié ne vous sentez pas honteuses quand
