This best-selling US foundation is now in the UK
When I say that I've been waiting two years for L'Oréal's Infallible Pro-Glow foundation to launch in the UK, I'm not joking.
A 'glowy' long-wearing foundation is notoriously hard to find, so when Pro-Glow first launched in the US back in 2016, the the Internet went WILD.
After picking up not one, but two tubes on holiday (I panic easily) I quickly realised that the hype was very much real and this drugstore foundation was not only comparable to other formulas that cost £40 plus, it also really delivered on the long-wear glow promise.
So you can imagine my unadulterated joy when L'Oréal finally announced they were rolling out Pro-Glow in the UK. Especially as I was down to my last backup.

Yep, the wait really is over and Pro-Glow is now available for sale exclusively on Amazon and L'Oréal's own website (it won't be available in-store).
Described as a medium coverage foundation, Pro-Glow promises a pretty impressive 24 hour wear time for a 'natural, healthy glow' that is ideal for people with normal to dry skin. Now I can't say that I've worn it for a full 24 hours (not intentionally anyway), but I can definitely say it lasts a full working day on my combination skin.
But my favourite thing about this foundation without a doubt is the glow it gives. In fact I think it's a pretty good dupe for Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk, which costs £42 compared to £11.99 for Pro-Glow.

But what does a Pro-Glow newbie make of it? I dragged Tabitha to our beauty booth to try it as well and she was so impressed with the high coverage and dewy finish that it went straight in her makeup bag.

The one downside is the shade range. Compared to L'Oréal's True Match Foundation which is available in 28 shades, Pro-Glow is only available in 12 (this is because it's not a new launch and L'Oréal has just taken the existing shades from the US). But if you can find a colour match I cannot recommend adding this to your basket enough.
Now I just need a different excuse to make my annual American makeup shopping trip.
