This bee has become a social media influencer for a very cool reason
This bee has risen to social media fame on Instagram, amassing 136,000 followers.
The brilliantly designed images show the binfluencer (yes, we did just make that up) posing in various luxurious locations.
The account was set up by environmentalists group Fondation de France, who are raising awareness and donations to help protect the future of bees.
Companies can pay to have product placements on the account, with all proceeds going directly to help secure the future of the bee.

The money the account raises will go towards “the actions considered as the most fundamental and urgent in the protection of all species of bees”.
As a result, the more followers the account attracts, the more money the company will raise for vital bee research.
Since 1900, Friends of the Earth estimate that the UK has lost 13 species of bee. There are 35 species at threat of extinction, too, which equates to 1 in 10 across Europe.
To add to this, none of the precious insects are protected by law.

Enter, B and the incredible philanthropic work of the Fondation de France.
The reason for the Instagram account is as serious as 'protecting humankind', according to its website.
The website says: “Bees are a fundamental pillar of our ecosystem, our food, and our global economic system. Protecting bees means protecting the planet, but also humankind.”
Created in 1969, the Fondation de France is the leading philanthropy network in its country.

There are plenty of things we can do to help bees in our own gardens, including: setting up areas for wildflowers to grow, planting new flowers throughout the winter, too so bees have a year-round habitat and giving bees shelter by letting our grass grow a little longer.
B is attracting thousands of comments on each post. This is just the kind of wholesome #ad content we need right now.
