The 'most beautiful girl in the world' is the new face of Juicy Couture
Called the most beautiful girl in the world a decade ago, Thylane Blondeau has officially started her second chapter, and she’s taking your favorite brand from the 2000s along from the ride. Juicy Couture just announced that the French model is the face of their SS18 campaign.
Juicy created a mosaic of the model with Instagram thumbnails for the big reveal. In the collage, she’s reclining against a pink couch in a white and red polka dotted pussybow blouse tucked into a flowing midi skirt of two polka dot patterns — the top is pink and white and the bottom matches the blouse.

Juicy then posted a second photo of Blondeau in a sleeveless black and white polka dotted dress. She’s on the same couch, this time with other models, one of whom is in a sweatsuit. Then, the brand posted a video of Blondeau and two other models flaunting their new boho yet authentically Juicy designs in a tropical setting. It looks like Blondeau might be wearing a pink sweatsuit in one shot.

Blondeau shared one of the images on her own Instagram, with the caption, “It’s out ! I’m so excited to announce that I’m the new face of @juicycouture #THISISJUICY.”

It gets better. In campaign images obtained by Daily Mail, Blondeau is in fact wearing the infamous Juicy sweatsuit. There’s a yellow sweatsuit reminiscent of the one you had in high school. Then she’s pictured by the pool in a pink one with tighter pants and “Juicy Couture” written on the wrist and waist bands. Yes, it’s written on the butt as well.
In one of the images Juicy shared, Blondeau is looking up at the camera with her hand in her hair, her wrist tattoo visible; it says “One Life.” And what a life her short one has been so far. She had walked runways for major designers by the age of four, covered Vogue (Enfants) at six, and at 10 posed for Vogue Paris. Now, she’s a brand ambassador for L’Oreal and walked the Dolce & Gabbana runway twice in 2017.
We can’t think of a better model for Juicy to have cast (besides Paris Hilton herself) for their reinvention than one who’s fulfilling a destiny that was laid out for her when she was just a child.
And Juicy’s revival has been just as successful since they announced in August, 2017 that they were bringing the sweatsuits back. The Kardashians dusting off their old ones in recent years (or just buying new suits) has definitely helped.
