The beautiful £336 gift Meghan Markle gave to the Duchess of Cambridge for her wedding
Meghan Markle has given her new sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, a sweet gift to mark her big day.
The newly-titled Duchess of Sussex gave the mother-of-three a gold bracelet by Zofia Day, aptly named the Kensington Bracelet.
The bracelet – which features a thin chain with a dainty disk, completed in yellow gold – was commissioned by Meghan Markle for the big day, but is now available to buy on the brand website for £336 ($450).
The brand’s founder, Lisette Polny, told People magazine that she was thrilled to be asked to design the bracelets.
“It’s an overwhelming honour to be part of history and for my pieces to be given as a keepsake for this momentous occasion,” she said.
Approved by Meghan herself, the designer added: “It’s a really simple, elegant piece that’s just very true to her personal style.”
Meghan’s six best friends were also thought to have received one as a gift, including Jessica Mulroney and Benita Litt.
What a lovely gesture!
The two Duchesses have has ample time to bond since Harry and Meghan first began dating back in June 2016.
The pair first appeared out in public together at the royal family’s Christmas Day celebrations, and later in February, they spoke together on stage at the Royal Foundation Forum.
