Since their introduction to the beauty world, BB creams have become an absolute makeup bag staple. But instead of applying it to your face, would you drink something that claimed to have the same effect on your skin?
Yes: ‘BB tea’ is now a thing, and the moisturising, imperfection-smoothing, UV-protecting cream we rely on so much now comes in drinkable form. Yours for £14.50, Kusmi Tea BB Detox comes in tins of 125g and claims to be a ‘beauty elixir’.

Dermatologist Dr. Rachel Nazarian told Marie Claire US that it’s packed with antioxidants called catechins and polyphenols, which ‘help protect skin from UV radiation by decreasing the chances of sunburn’.

‘And like other anti-oxidants, they help decrease redness and inflammation,’ she explained.
We may not replace what’s in our makeup bag with it right away, but it does sound tasty - comprising green tea, rooibos, guarana, dandelion and a hint of grapefruit, it’ll certainly refresh our insides.
