This artist is making 'vulva nails' a thing

We’re all for a fresh new nail trend to mix things up a bit.

But a vulva manicure – painting or having your nails painted with little vulvas – wasn’t exactly what we had in mind.

A couple of months ago, boob manicures appeared on Instagram, featuring – yes, you guessed it – nails painted with boobs.

And now, female-body-based nail art has reached another step in its journey as an artist has created a ‘vulva nails’ look.

T Ngu, a designer at Project Object, has collaborated with nail artist Asa Bree (of aptly-named Finger Bang) to create the vulva-based look.

And it’s to celebrate another vulva-themed creation; a colouring book.

Ngu told Buzzfeed that the process took around two hours, including looking up medical models of vulvae to make sure the look was anatomically accurate.

She then shared her creation on Instagram with the caption ‘P*SSY POWER’.

With almost 6,000 likes, it’s certainly been a hit – so nail salons better start brushing up on their anatomy knowledge ASAP.
