Ariana Grande swaps signature high ponytail for curly hairdo while social distancing
She’s as much known for her signature high ponytail as her impressive vocal range - but now Ariana Grande has reverted to her natural hair in coronavirus lockdown.
The singer, 26, unveiled her new dark curly locks in a post on Instagram to her 178m followers.
Captioning a selfie showing off her new hair style at home, she wrote: “Get a load a dis.”
Her fans were delighted by the snap - which also gave an insight into her quarantine beauty look, including perfect winged eyeliner and a pretty pink manicure - and left more than five million ‘likes’.
One person commented: “Beautiful.”

A third shared: “Prettyyyyyy.”
And a fourth added: “Curly never looked better.”

The pop star recently urged her fans to take the deadly pandemic more seriously and to stay at home.
Posting on her Instagram Story, she wrote: “I keep hearing a surprising amount of people statements like, ‘This isn’t a big deal’ / ‘We’ll be fine’ / ‘We still have to go about our daily lives’ and it’s really blowing my mind.
“I understand if that is how you felt weeks ago, but please read about what’s going on please don’t turn a blind eye.
“It is incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly, the ‘we will be fine because we’re young’ mindset is putting people who aren’t young and / or healthy in a lot of danger.”
Ariana added: “You sound stupid and privileged and you need to care more about others. Like now.”
It comes as Elizabeth Hurley revealed she had finally washed her hair and put on make-up after eleven days in quarantine.
The model, 54, is looking after seven family and friends at her home - some of whom are vulnerable.
In a new post at the weekend, the mum-of-one updated her 1.6m fans with what she had been up to in quarantine as she shared a picture of her wearing a lacy monochrome minidress, with dramatic eye make-up and a fresh blow-dry.
Captioning the snap, she wrote: “Day 11 of my family’s lockdown in Herefordshire and I finally washed my hair, put on some make up and found time to post.
“In these scary times I feel incredibly lucky to live in the countryside and have lots of outside space.
“As well as my son, I have seven other people living with me including my 79-year-old mother and her sister - also in her late 70s - and one of my best friends who is in the highest risk group with severe respiratory problems.
“Keeping everyone as safe as possible (and fed) is a full time job.”
