Argos reveals top toys for Christmas 2019, including new LEGO Harry Potter and Fortnite toys
Is it too early to talk Christmas? We only ask because Argos has revealed their top 12 toys for Christmas 2019 so parents can get a head start on their crimbo shopping.
But with previous last minute scrambles to find in-stock kids faves fresh in parents’ minds (Remember Hatchimal gate?), it’s never to soon to be ticking off the must-wants.
From a Fortnite Battle Bus, to a Walking Buzz Lightyear and even a twerking llama, this year’s wishlist wants are expected to be equally as popular, particularly as this year’s offering takes inspiration from some of the biggest movie, TV and gaming franchises.
New research conducted by the retailer reveals almost one in five of Brits look to the big screen for their main Christmas present inspiration, buying gifts inspired by TV programmes and films.
The toy reveal comes as the retailer’s research reveals that 32% of us expect to spend more on gifts this year, with parents forking out an average of £273 on presents for their children.
The list comes as Argos research reveals a quarter of Brits have already started their Christmas shopping and just under 10% have even finished their festive gift buying.
The top toys of 2019 will be available to buy at Argos from Saturday 27 July.
