Amy Childs breaks silence about 'dangerous' weight loss as she shares new photo
Amy Childs has broken her silence after her weight loss pics sparked backlash from fans who branded it ‘dangerous’. The former TOWIE star shared a set of before-and-after phots earlier this week and gushed over her results in the caption - admitting she previously struggled to shed the pounds after welcoming her twins, daughter Milly and son Billy, in April 2023.
However, many fans were less than impressed with the photos and expressed worry for the star in the caption, with some even calling the post "dangerous", accusing her of setting a bad example to younger social media users. "You look a beautiful healthy weight in the first picture. I worry for young girls when these kind of pictures are posted publicly,” penned one fan, as another wrote: "Dangerous post. I don’t want my daughters seeing this.” However, others were quick to compliment the mother of four.
Now, Amy has broken her silence and taken to her Instagram stories to show off her weight loss again - making a point of staying it's the results of exercise and not anything extreme. After a workout, the 34-year-old filmed herself in the mirror, lifting her top up to show her stomach.

In the caption, she penned: “30 minutes running machine. Starting to see definition. Hard work paying off for once.” Completely changing the subject, just an hour later, Amy posted a picture of her bouncy locks, asking if any of her followers wanted a tutorial on how she does her hair.
The reality star has been on a weight loss journey over the past few months, as she gave fans a huge update on her progress just last month. At the time, the star explained how she had lost two stone, by putting herself on a calorie deficit and working out 4-5 times a week.
"I still enjoy my Prosecco on a weekend but just really watching what I'm eating. I was the biggest I have ever been after having the twins! I didn't want to diet as I was in a complete baby bubble and the last thing I wanted to do was to be on a diet and train! Fast forward... Twins are now 19-months old and it's the best I have ever felt! I still need to do more toning up,” she continued at the time.
However, Amy also revealed that she had been receiving backlash when sharing her progress, admitting she had received some ‘really horrible messages about her weight loss’.
“If you haven't got anything nice to say don't say it at all,” she said.
