Tights season has arrived: shop Amazon's best-selling pair

This year’s September heatwave is a distant memory and the cold weather has kicked in, leaving us rummaging around in our underwear draw in an attempt to extract some tights that aren’t saggy or covered in holes and/or ladders.

More often that not, that pair doesn’t exist. Cue a desperate online shop to purchase more tights. But, which styles are actually worth investing in? We’ve done some digging.

Heist tights are often raved about (we’ve tried them, they are great), but at roughly £21 a pair they’re not exactly affordable.

Fortunately, good old Amazon has come to the rescue.

It turns out the online giant is home to a best-selling pair of pull-ups that, according to the glowing customer reviews, will see you through until next spring with little to no discomfort, sagging or ladders. Hooray.

A two-pack of Manzi 70 denier tights boast an almost perfect rating on Amazon with shoppers rating the hosiery for being “super soft”, “hard-wearing” and “incredibly comfortable”.

So, let’s get down to business.

According to the item description, the £7.99 tights are crafted to stay up all day and come courtesy of a control top, fit-the-sole design and no-snag material - perfect for throwing on beneath last summer’s lived-in dress while the weather permits.

The tights are available in five different sizes from XS to XL and have an impressive no-static finish.

If that isn’t enough to convince you, one five-star review reads: “Super comfortable and hard wearing, didn’t roll down at the waistband like other tights do. I would definitely purchase again (although I don’t need to just yet, as they’ve been through the wash and are still in tact!)”
