Amanda Holden has opened up about her sex life
Amanda Holden has spoken about her relationship with her partner of 19 years (and husband for 12), Chris Hughes.
In an interview with The Sun, the TV and radio personality revealed that the pair — who share two daughters together, Hollie, 9, and Alexa, 15 — still have 'primal sex' in their 5os, after being drawn to each other post her divorce to first husband Les Dennis.
Recalling how she felt when she and Chris first met, the star said he sparked in her 'something primitive' and she 'had to be with him.'
And that feeling hasn't dwindled, as the Britain's Got Talent judge revealed: 'He can’t keep his hands off me... I actually tell him off because I say "I don’t want to have a kiss and a grope while I’m trying to load the dishwasher". Chris’ up for it any time. Always. So it’s when I decide. Poor chap!'
But it's not just an active sex life that keeps the couple together, Amanda explained that the secret to their relationship working so well was a sense of humour.
'We take the mickey out of each other mercilessly,' she said, adding, '[we] make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives.'
Add to that 'mutual respect and spontaneity' and the mother-of-two believes they've got the perfect recipe for success. Detailing an example of the couple's spontaneous attitude to life and each other, Amanda explained that Chris had recently dared her to go on their children’s trampoline completely naked, which she did.
She said, 'I would encourage anyone at home to strip off and have a cheeky bounce.'
