Amanda Holden reveals ban on daughter Lexi going 'anywhere near' Love Island
Amanda Holden has revealed she doesn't want her daughter Lexi appearing on Love Island, despite the teenager being "obsessed" with the show.
The presenter, 51, insisted she didn't want her 17-year-old going "anywhere near" the hit reality TV series.
On her Heart FM Breakfast Show earlier today, she was asked by co-star Ashley Roberts if she would let her kids – who also include 11-year-old daughter Hollie – star on the show one day.
She replied: "It's just amazing telly, but it's not really for love so I don't want my daughter anywhere near it."
Her fellow host Jamie Theakston added: "You don't go on that show to find love. Do you know what I mean? It's just manipulative."
It comes months after Holden admitted that her eldest daughter was "obsessed" during the season in which Michael Owen's 19-year-old daughter Gemma was starring.

The Britain's Got Talent judge revealed on the same radio show last year that she had clashed with Lexi, and told her that she wasn't "ever" going on it.
She said: "So this is becoming a bit of an obsession with my teenage daughter at home now.
"She's never taken one scrap of interest in Love Island and now is all over it."
Holden added: "Which worries me slightly bearing in mind that Michael Owen's daughter is on it, and I’m like, 'You ain't ever going on it, Alexa!'"
