Amal and George Clooney have revealed where they're planning to raise their twins

Hearing that famous bachelor George Clooney was getting married in 2014 was shocking. But hearing that the actor was having twins with wife Amal was just too much for some.

The couple broke the news of their impending additions back in February with George’s mother, Nina, confirming that they were expecting a boy and girl.

Since then, Amal (and her enviable maternity style) has been watched like a hawk. It’s no surprise that the pair have been busy planning the birth of their first children.

A source told E! that Amal is planning to give birth in London. The couple are also expected to settle in their nine-bedroom mansion in Berkshire for the first few years of their twins’ lives – yes, the very same county that the Duchess of Cambridge, then Kate Middleton, grew up in and Pippa Middleton will tie the knot in next month.

Although the famous duo are often seen on the streets of New York, the relocation makes sense. Amal’s high-profile legal career is primarily based in London and their sprawling country house is the ideal place for some much-needed privacy.

Amal is also reportedly planning to stay private once the twins are born. It’s not known whether George will embark on any more film roles.
