Airline reunites bridesmaid with forgotten dress and saves the wedding
From planning the hen party to carrying the veil, the responsibilities that come hand-in-hand with being a bridesmaid can feel endless. But the number one tip to remember, is always make sure to bring your dress to the wedding.
When one US bridesmaid touched down in Costa Rica for her friend’s nuptials without hers, it seemed all was lost. That was until the company she flew with, Southwest Airlines, came to the rescue.

After realising that she’d left the garment back home in Houston, the bridesmaid’s friend, Taylor Kenney, sought help from Twitter. In a now-viral message, she tweeted Southwest Airlines asking if they could send the dress on the next flight to Costa Rica.
“My friend is in a wedding on Saturday in Costa Rica but she left her bridesmaid dress here in Houston,” she wrote. “Can we get her dress on flight #1734 tomorrow?”
