When it comes to dating, an alarming number of people don’t seem to understand a little thing called boundaries. That guy that sent you a billion goodnight texts after your first date, or another that just won’t get the hint when you say you’re not interested.
And some of us learn about such trials and tribulations from an earlier age than others - one ten-year-old called Zoe in particular.
A letter written by the girl has recently gone viral, after a friend of her teacher’s posted it on Twitter.
My friend who’s a 5th grade teacher just sent this to me! I’m dead!!! pic.twitter.com/FSDBxs9Vtq

The letter details a list of carefully-written rules to a boy that’s evidently giving Zoe unwanted attention, and the girl sure knows how to demand some respect.
“Rules and regulations, from Zoe to Noah,” the letter reads.
“1. Do not touch my shoulder.
“2. Do not get behind me with all that playing and foolishness (don’t get behind me at all).
“3. Do not speak to me unless it’s a greeting, which will be never.
“4. Stop playing with me on the bus.
“5. I have a short temper with people and you ruin my day because you play too much.
“6. Reread 500 times.

“7. You like me (as a girlfriend) but I don’t like you (as a boyfriend), I’m too young!
“If you break any of these rules I’m calling my dad, my mom’s friend, my fake mom and a janator (don’t mind spelling) I know!
“If you ruin my day I’m going to have to go to counselling!
“Stop playing with me!!!!”
Noah - get the hint and leave Zoe alone, okay? No means no, after all, which after reading this 500 times, you must have got by now.
