'ADRIAN!' Jurgen Klopp inspired by Rocky after Liverpool win
Jurgen Klopp channeled the spirit of Rocky Balboa after Liverpool’s Super Cup victory against Chelsea.
Liverpool’s Spanish goalkeeper Adrian, who only signed for the club last week, was the hero as he saved Tammy Abraham’s penalty in the shootout to hand the European champions another trophy.
And Klopp, who led the team’s charge to celebrate with the goalkeeper afterwards, was in no mood to play down the triumph.
“What a story... Adrian!” The former Borussia Dortmund manager shouted into the camera. “Like Rocky...”

Thanks for the explanation, Jurgen.
Olivier Giroud handed Frank Lampard’s Chelsea the lead before Sadio Mane levelled shortly after half-time in Istanbul.
Mane struck again in extra-time but a penalty converted by Jorginho - and conceded by Adrian - seemed to give Chelsea impetus before the goalkeeper redeemed himself.
