Terrifying first trailer for 'A Quiet Place Part II' lands
After a brief but eerie teaser for A Quiet Place Part II before Christmas, we've now got a full, pant-wettingly frightening trailer for the anticipated horror sequel.
Emily Blunt reprises her role as matriarch Evelyn Abbott, shepherding her children Regan (Millicent Simmonds) and Marcus (Noah Jupe) through a ravaged, post-apocalyptic world.

Their already bewilderingly precarious situation is now made all the more complicated by a newborn son, birthed in the first movie is an unbearably tense scene in which Blunt's Eveyln had to remain entirely silent throughout labour. In a bath.
The premise remains – that the Earth is now stalked by alien creatures who can detect even the slightest noise, meaning that to be silent is to survive. Not easy with a new baby in tow.
Following the tragic events of the first movie, we get flashbacks to how the infestation began, as Evelyn and family struggle to survive, not only among the aliens, but among the now desperate survivors.
We're also introduced to Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy as a grizzled loner, who joins the cast along with Guardians of the Galaxy's Djimon Hounsou.

But as we discovered in the first movie, there is perhaps some glimmer of hope, with the family having discovered a vulnerability in the alien race which could help to redress the balance.
With John Krasinski – Blunt's husband – back behind the camera (and on writing duties), the movie lands on March 20 across the UK.
