New Star Wars: Rogue One trailer teases more Darth Vader
Darth Vader appears in new ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ trailer.
Another cool, new trailer for ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ has appeared online… and this time, it’s packed full of new shots. Featuring a glimpse of the Death Star in action as well as the iconic ‘Star Wars’ villain, Darth Vader, it looks as though this new trailer might give us our best look at ‘Rogue One’ yet.
Not to mention an interesting new scene with Jyn and her family…

The stunning new international trailer gives us even more classic ‘Star Wars’ dogfights as X-Wings and TIE Fighters clash once more. But make no mistake - it’s not all about the action. There’s also a cool new scene featuring main character Jyn Erso.
And it’s a rather touching moment with her mother.
“Trust The Force,” she says as she fastens a necklace around Jyn’s neck, which holds a rather significant-looking crystal. A lightsaber crystal, or something to do with the Death Star itself?
For now, we have to wait and see.
But I get the feeling it’s going to be a lot more significant than it looks.
Despite plenty of buzz surrounding the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ spin-off, Disney boss Bob Iger reveals that the studio isn’t expecting it to do as well as ‘The Force Awakens’.
“We never felt it would do the level that ‘Force Awakens’ did,” Iger told Variety. But based on the huge response to the trailers and posters, he explained “The level of interest [in ‘Rogue One’] is as high as it was for ‘Force Awakens’.”
‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso alongside Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk, Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn and Mads Mikkelsen.
Gareth Edwards directed the movie based on a script by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy.
‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ heads to cinemas on 16 December 2016.
