New on Paramount+ UK February 2023: From Your Honor to Orphan: First Kill
A horror prequel joins Paramount+ this month, alongside the second season of a Bryan Cranston crime thriller
Returning crime drama Your Honor takes centre stage on Paramount+ UK this February. Bryan Cranston is back as the judge dealing with the ramifications of his decision to protect his son in the aftermath of a tragic event.
It's also Valentine's Day and so there's a romcom on the horizon in the shape of At Midnight, which follows an unlikely romance between a movie star and a hotel manager. For those on the hunt of a very different movie vibe, there's the streaming debut of Orphan: First Kill — a violent prequel to the cult horror movie from the noughties.

Coming hot on the heels of the biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody, in which Naomi Ackie played Whitney Houston, this documentary explores the pressures placed on the singer at the height of her fame, and the subsequent effect on her daughter Bobbi Kristina. It discusses the ways Houston's relationships with husband Bobby Brown and friend Robyn Crawford, with whom she was rumoured to have a romance, were commodified and pored over by the tabloid press.

Your Honor S2 (episodes 1-3 on 3 February)
The first season of crime series Your Honor followed Bryan Cranston's judge as he became embroiled in organised crime while trying to cover up a crime committed by his son. This time around, the character is in a much less elevated position and still struggling to escape from the Baxter family. A meeting with a federal agent raises the prospect of revenge and the ability to hit back against the criminal underworld of New Orleans.
Gucci: Sex, Money and Power (15 February)
The Gucci brand was embroiled in controversy throughout the tail end of the 1980s and early 90s, including the murder of Maurizio Gucci on the orders of his wife — as depicted by Adam Driver and Lady Gaga in the 2021 film House of Gucci. This documentary explores the fall and then rise of the company as it dragged itself back up the fashion totem pole in order to restore the reputation of its iconic brand.
Con Girl (all episodes on 22 February)
This four-part crime series stars Emma Krieg as Samantha Azzopardi — although that's just one of the many names by which that woman was known. Over the course of the last decade or so, she assumed as many as 75 identities, including as a teenage girl fleeing a kidnapper and a gymnast whose family were killed in a murder-suicide. The series explores her life and the possible motives for her crimes, which don't seem to be inspired by money or the desire to cause physical harm.
