Lindsay Lohan loses court battle with rapper
Actress claimed Pitbull lyrics defamed her.
Lindsay Lohan has had her lawsuit with rapper Pitbull, R&B singer Ne-Yo and producer Afrojack thrown out of court.
The beleaguered actress had filed a defamation suit against the trio over the song 'Give Me Everything', which features a line by Pitbull about her.

Her lawyers claimed that the line was 'disparaging and defamatory' and caused Lohan 'tremendous emotional distress', while it had used her name without permission for advertising purposes.
As such, she was also seeking 'compensatory damages in an amount to be determined in the Court'.
The specific lyric which upset Lohan was 'so, I'm tiptoein', to keep flowin'/I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan', a reference to her numerous brushes with the law.
But Judge Denis R. Hurley at the US District Court in New York declined to support Lohan's complaint.
“Even if the Court were to conclude that plaintiff had sufficiently alleged that her name was used in the Song for purposes of advertising or trade, the isolated nature of the use of her name would, in and of itself, prove fatal to her New York Civil Rights Law claim,” read the ruling.
“Even if the defendants used plaintiff's name in one line of the Song without her consent, such conduct is insufficient to meet the threshold for extreme and outrageous conduct necessary to sustain a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
