'Jurassic World' short film 'Battle At Big Rock' lands online
After premiering on the FX channel in the US last night, the Jurassic World short film, Battle Of Black Rock, directed in secret by Colin Trevorrow is now online to watch.
The short is set one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the conclusion of which found some of the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar now loose on the US mainland.

We'll avoid spoilers, but the movie centres on a family holidaying at the Black Rock National Park, set to the backdrop of dinosaur sightings in the California area.
Soon enough there's an encounter, but not perhaps as you might expect, and with species from the Jurassic World that we've not seen before.
Stick around to the end credits to get a better look at the state of the world in the aftermath of Fallen Kingdom.
Trevorrow revealed last week that he'd managed to shoot the short film secretly in Ireland last year, outside Dublin, where there are Redwood groves with could pass for Northern California (it helps that the action is at night too).
“It’s about a family on a camping trip to Big Rock National Park, about 20 miles from where the last film ended,” Trevorrow told Collider last week.
“There have been a few sightings, but this is the first major confrontation between dinosaurs and humans.
“The world is bigger than just the characters we’ve been following in the films. We’ve finally taken the story off Isla Nublar, we wanted to show a glimpse of that new reality.

“If this really happened, you’d see a series of random disconnected incidents that would create a pattern of chaos. I wanted to see one of those incidents.”
Trevorrow is currently working on the third Jurassic movie of the current trilogy, which began with Jurassic World in 2015, and then Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018.
The third movie, so far just being called Jurassic World 3, will go into production in the spring of 2020, with a release date slated for June, 2021.
