It’s no secret that Carrie Fisher is in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
And now we’ve got our first look at General Leia from the upcoming sequel.

The brief clip shows Carrie Fisher in her ‘Star Wars 8’ costume alongside director Rian Johnson… and it looks as though she’s getting a far-less militarised look in the upcoming sequel.
As you can see, it’s not quite the military outfit we saw General Leia wearing in ‘The Force Awakens’… in fact, it’s a lot more formal and dressy while retaining the subdued green hues of earlier costumes.
Could this be a glimpse at Han Solo’s funeral?
I can’t help thinking that the character will likely have some kind of send-off in ‘Star Wars: The last Jedi’… and after Carrie Fisher’s passing it’s likely to be a rather bittersweet moment.
But for now, we’ll have to wait and see.
Either way, it’s our first look at Carrie Fisher in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
And we can’t wait to see how General Leia brings the fight back to the First Order.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ will star Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher.
Rian Johnson both wrote and directed the movie.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ heads to cinemas on 15 December 2017.
