Disneyland Paris has announced its long-awaited Marvel Avengers Campus will open on 20 July, 2022.
The immersive Marvel-themed area is a first for the European Disney park and is part of a two-billion-euro, multi-year transformation underway at Walt Disney Studios Park, which will also introduce new areas dedicated to Frozen and Star Wars in the coming years.
The Marvel Avengers Campus, opening as part of the park's 30th anniversary celebrations, has been designed to allow Marvel fans to unleash their inner superhero and includes themed rides, shops, experiences, and a huge cast of interactive characters.
Visitors will be met by surprise live-action stunts and heroic encounters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Black Widow, Thor and Loki, allowing recruits to become part of the Marvel universe.

Sam Wilson as Captain America, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Okoye and the Dora Milaje from Wakanda, will also make their first appearance at Disneyland Paris at the Campus. A sleek new high-tech Avengers vehicle will roam the Campus throughout the day dispatching the Heroes in style.
Visitors will get the chance to train with Black Panther’s loyal protectors, the Dora Milaje, and have a chance to try on their best dance moves during an interactive dance-off with Star Lord and Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The centrepiece ride of the area, which is unique to Disneyland Paris, is Avengers Assemble: Flight Force — a rethemed Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith — which sees recruits teaming up with Captain Marvel and Iron Man on a high speed mission. Brie Larson has reprised the role of Carol Danvers for the ride.
Taking over from the former Armageddon – Les Effets Speciaux will be Spider-Man: W.E.B. Adventure, where recruits of all ages will be given web-slinging superpowers, accomplished through innovative technology created specifically for this attraction.

Through specially designed technology that recognises body movements and gestures, recruits will reach out their hands and sling webs from their wrists, just like Spider-Man.
As well as the rides and characters, the Campus will have specially themed dining experiences including PYM Kitchen which serves supersized and miniature versions of food for everyone to make the most of the growing and shrinking Ant-Man and The Wasp experience.
Stark Factory is a quick service restaurant where visitor will get to enjoy a cooking show experience, and features relics of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s earlier activities and hosts many “Easter Eggs” hidden as fan tributes including artefacts built by Tony Stark and the impressive HulkBuster.
The WEB – Worldwide Eating Brigade – food truck will be run by the WEB workshop’s inventors and serve a variety of Asian noodles and coconut balls, while the Super Diner, is a small traditional American restaurant serving Reuben sandwiches.
The area will also be well served by Marvel-themed shopping experiences, and superfans looking to max out their marvel experience can also stay at the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which opened in 2021.
The next phase of the Disneyland Paris revamp — Arendelle: World of Frozen — is set to open in 2023, while the European park's very own Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is will follow in the future.
