Disney shares new image from 'Lady and The Tramp' live-action remake
Disney has released a new image from the Lady And The Tramp live-action remake, via its fan magazine Disney twenty-three.
Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux will voice Lady and Tramp respectively in the new movie which uses real animals rather than recreating them in photo-realistic CGI like the studio did for The Lion King and The Jungle Book.
Each dog was a rescue and following the production’s end they enjoyed their own real life happy ending by finding “forever homes”.
For those who don't remember the plot of the 1955 animated film of the same, this version follows Thompson's upper-middle class American Cocker Spaniel who falls for Theroux's street-smart Schnauzer mix mongrel.
They embark on a romantic journey when she finds herself on the streets and even make room for some spaghetti and meatballs under the stars.
Lady’s owners Jim Dear and Darling Dear are played by Thomas Mann and Kiersey Clemons while Ashley Jensen will be voicing Jock, the Scottish terrier.

Trusty, the Bloodhound, Bull the Bulldog and Peg the Pekingese will be voiced by Sam Elliott, Benedict Wong and Janelle Monáe, respectively.
The Siamese Cats will appear in the film but their characterisation will be slightly different as the original depiction was criticised for perpetuating negative Eastern stereotypes.
Yvette Nicole Brown will play the live-action role of Aunt Sarah while Adrian Martinez plays the dog-catcher Elliot.

Charlie Bean will direct from a screenplay by Andrew Bujalski. Bean previously directed The Lego Ninjago Movie.

Disney UK confirmed to Yahoo that it plans to launch Disney+ in Western Europe between October 2019 and March 2020.
