'It: Chapter Two' director Andy Muschietti hints at ultimate supercut with both movies back-to-back
Andy Muschietti has suggested that the world might need to prepare itself for even more of Pennywise after the release of It: Chapter Two.
The director, who also helmed the first half of the Stephen King story in 2017, hinted in an interview with SFX that he is working on multiple different versions of the films.
These include a supercut, which combines the two movies into a mammoth horror epic.

The 45-year-old filmmaker said “the possibilities are open” when it comes to exploring new versions of his King adaptations.
He added: “There’s a version where the two movies are cut together.
“There’s a version where there’s a special director’s cut of number one and a special director’s cut of number two.
“I’m happy to basically work on every one of them.”
It: Chapter Two is already set to be a heavyweight experience, with the movie clocking in at 169 minutes according to the British Board of Film Classification.
Muschietti has confirmed that he is hard at work on a director’s cut of the film, which will add in some of the material that was excised from his four-hour original version.

The new film will follow the Losers Club as adults when they return to their hometown of Derry and face the return of Pennywise, 27 years after they believed they had vanquished him for good.
Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader lead the cast alongside the returning Bill Skarsgård as the malevolent Pennywise.
Chastain previously collaborated with Muschietti on his 2013 breakout Mama.
The original film’s young cast will also appear, with their performances digitally de-aged to match their appearances during the first movie.
