Summer baseball leagues are in full swing and several LSU baseball players are playing around the country.
The Tigers saw their 2024 season come to an end in the Chapel Hill Regional Final, losing to host and No. 4 overall seed North Carolina.
Once the college season ends, many players head out to their summer destinations, from the Cape Cod League to lower-level leagues that generally feature incoming college freshmen.
In summer ball, hitters use wooden bats.
Those that play well during the summer months can use the experience to set themselves up for premier college seasons or improved future MLB Draft prospects.
