Zach Edey is Purdue basketball's all-time leading scorer.

The 7-4 senior center and 2023 consensus National Player of the Year scored his 14th point of Saturday's game with 7:16 left in regulation against Wisconsin, pushing him past Rick Mount, who scored 2,323 points from 1967-70.

Edey scored 28 points in Saturday's 76-75 overtime loss, giving him 2,339 career points heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Edey, who is in line to repeat as national Player of the Year, came into the game averaging 24.3 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game for the No. 3 Boilermakers (29-3).

Edey is already Purdue's career rebounding leader (1,223), and is fourth in blocked shots (218).

Edey explored the NBA Draft process in 2023 before deciding to return to Purdue. He is viewed largely as a second-round pick in the 2024 draft, but his stock has risen.

During Purdue's trip to Canada in December, Edey teamed up with Daps on a name, image, and likeness deal.

"Not particularly," Edey told USA TODAY Sports. "But now that I am getting paid, thinking back on it, it was ridiculous that we weren't getting paid. At the time, the only thing I was focused on was my basketball, as it is now."
