LSU softball's journey for a sixth SEC Tournament championship begins Wednesday as the 9-seed against the 8-seed Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Tigers ended their conference season a week earlier than the rest of the SEC, and closed the regular season last weekend by taking two of three against Liberty. Alabama closed the season by losing two of three to Auburn.
