LSU basketball picks up transfer portal commitment from ex-Richmond guard Dji Bailey
LSU basketball picked up another transfer on Wednesday, as the Tigers secured a commitment from former Richmond guard Dji Bailey.
Bailey, a redshirt senior, played four seasons with the Spiders from 2020-24. His best season came this winter, when he averaged career highs in points, rebounds, assists, and steals. His 59.4% shooting percentage last season ranked in the top 10 for single-season percentage in program history and led the Atlantic 10 Conference. For his efforts, Bailey was named the A-10's Most Improved Player.
Bailey is the third pickup through the portal for LSU this offseason, all of them guards. He joins former Kansas State Wildcat Cam Carter and former UT-Martin Skyhawk Jordan Sears.
