It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Prep Athlete of the Week for Oct. 20-26.

This week's poll features four football players. Scroll down to the bottom of this story for the ballot.

Voting will be open until 11:59 a.m. Thursday. We'll announce the winner right here shortly after the poll closes.

Here are this week's nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name):

Cam Gunsell, Ludington High School: The junior quarterback led the Orioles to 51-31 victory over Howard City Tri County high school on Friday. Gunsell completed 10 of 12 passing attempts and threw for 246 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

Mahti Gwilly, Utica High School: Utica kept its playoff aspirations alive in a 31-21 victory over Warren Cousino on Friday night. The junior running back finished the night with 169-rushing yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries.

Josh Hammond, Birmingham Groves: The Birmingham Groves Eagles remained undefeated following its 35-point shut out of its district rival Seaholm High School. Junior defensive end Josh Hammond made his presence know as he finished the night with seven tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble against the Maples.

Justin Jones, Howell High School: The senior running back helped the Highlanders win the Kensington Lakes Activities Association championship in a 30-29 victory over the state's top-ranked team, the Belleville Tigers. Jones rushed for 220 yards on 30 carries and had two rushing touchdown, along with three catches on 25 yards and 1 receiving touchdown. He also contributed on the defensive side of ball, where he finished with seven tackles, forcing the Tigers to give up a safety in their own end zone.
