Week 10 of the 2024 college football season has concluded for Southeastern Conference teams. Four SEC teams had an open date in Week 10: Alabama, LSU, Missouri and Texas.

No. 7 Tennessee returned to action on Saturday after having its second and final open date during the regular-season. The Vols hosted their third consecutive SEC rivalry game. Tennessee defeated Kentucky, 28-18, at Neyland Stadium in Week 10.

Week 10 also featured three other ranked SEC teams in action.

No. 18 Ole Miss kicked off Week 10 and won at Arkansas, 63-31, while No. 2 Georgia was victorious against Florida, 34-20, in Jacksonville, Florida.

No. 11 Texas A&M suffered its first SEC loss of the season at South Carolina, 44-20. Rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Poll.

16. Mississippi State Bulldogs (2-7, 0-5 SEC)

The Bulldogs won their first game on Saturday since Week 1, ending a seven-game losing streak. Mississippi State's both wins this season are in nonconference play (Eastern Kentucky, UMass) under first-year head coach Jeff Lebby. Mississippi State will play at Tennessee next in Week 11.

Auburn suffered its first loss to Vanderbilt in program history at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday. Hugh Freeze and the Tigers will need to win out against UL-Monroe, Texas A&M and Alabama to become bowl eligible.

8. Ole Miss Rebels (7-2, 3-2 SEC)

Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin scored 40-plus points in a game for the fifth time this season. The Rebels totaled 694 yards in their, 63-31, win at Arkansas in Week 10. Jaxson Dart recorded six passing touchdowns, while Jordan Watkins scored five touchdowns for Ole Miss against the Razorbacks.

6. Alabama Crimson Tide (6-2, 3-2 SEC)

Alabama had its second and final open date of the season in Week 10. The Crimson Tide will travel to LSU in Week 11. Alabama will also play Mercer, at Oklahoma and Auburn to conclude Kalen DeBoer's first regular-season as the Crimson Tide's head coach.

5. Vanderbilt Commodores (6-3, 3-2 SEC)

Vanderbilt won at Auburn for the first time in program history during Week 10. Transfer quarterback Diego Pavia is now 2-0 against Auburn and 1-0 against Alabama over the last two seasons. The Commodores are also bowl eligible for the first time since 2018.
