Updating Texas rankings in college football polls after Longhorns, Arch Manning beat UTSA
Texas football claimed a third-consecutive blowout win to open the season on Saturday over UTSA.
And the voters took notice in a big way.
Steve Sarkisian's Longhorns moved up to No. 1 in the AP Poll, passing Georgia, which was punished for an underwhelming performance in a win over Kentucky this weekend.
Texas, which beat the Roadrunners 56-7 at Royal-Memorial Stadium, leapfrogged idle Ohio State into the No. 2 spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll released on Sunday.
