The Cincinnati Bengals finally got defensive end Trey Hendrickson back on Wednesday.

There, the star pass-rusher participated in drills for the first time in roughly two weeks after missing time with an undisclosed injury.

Hendrickson, along with fellow starting end Sam Hubbard, had merely been classified as "week-to-week" by head coach Zac Taylor.

While the Bengals will undoubtedly take it slow with Hendrickson from here, it's a small stroke of good news for a team that just lost Cam Sample for the season and had a rookie interior defender go down and leave practice on a cart.

In fact, the Bengals just went to free agency for two defensive linemen to help fill out the depth chart ahead of the three preseason games and joint practices with two different teams over the next two weeks.
