Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone was literally crowned on the track after setting world record in 400m hurdles
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone smoked everyone in the women's 400-meter hurdles final, and we're totally here for it.
As if you expected anything else — because she kinda won big in the semi-final earlier this week — Sydney ran away with another gold medal Thursday as she easily zipped by Dutch rival runner Femke Bol and the entire field. She became the first woman EVER to win two 400m hurdles gold medals, and the best part was she did it BACK-TO-BACK.
After she took a moment to soak it all in, Sydney ran to the stands to see her family and friends. That's when someone pulled out a gold crown and gave it to the track superstar. It was so perfect for Sydney, the moment and the world record she set just moments before.
