South Carolina women's basketball schedule 2024-25: UConn among non-conference games announced
COLUMBIA — South Carolina women's basketball announced five more home games for the 2024-25 season Wednesday, inching closer to an entire schedule reveal.
The reigning national champions begin its season on Nov. 4 in Las Vegas, then travel to North Carolina to play NC State on Nov. 10. On Wednesday it was revealed that the Gamecocks will host East Carolina on Nov. 17, returning the trip from last season when South Carolina traveled to Greenville, North Carolina, on Dec. 30.
Other home games announced on Wednesday include USF on Dec. 15, Charleston Southern on Dec. 19, Wofford on Dec. 29 and UConn on Feb. 16.
Last season, the Gamecocks hosted the Huskies and won their fourth straight game of the UConn-South Carolina rivalry. South Carolina has won five of the last six meetings between the two teams, including the last two in Columbia.

South Carolina women's basketball's 2024-25 SEC schedule
South Carolina will host: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.
The Gamecocks will travel to play: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Vanderbilt.

South Carolina is coming off a historic season, where the Gamecocks became the 10th team in women's basketball history to go 38-0 on the season. South Carolina returns all but one player, Kamilla Cardoso, from last season's roster and welcomes freshman Adhel Tac, Maddy McDaniel, Joyce Edwards and transfer Maryam Dauda.
