Social media reacts to Colorado's disastrous first half against Nebraska
From the very first snap on Saturday evening, head coach Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes appeared overwhelmed by the Nebraska Cornhuskers' intensity.
CU's supposedly revamped offensive line offered quarterback Shedeur Sanders little protection, running backs Charlie Offerdahl and Dallan Hayden combined for only seven yards, and the coaching staff made several questionable decisions. All of that and more had Colorado trailing 28-0 entering halftime.
The Buffs also lost two key defenders in the first half. Safety Shilo Sanders exited with an apparent forearm injury and linebacker Trevor Woods was disqualified due to targeting.
Here's how social media reacted to Colorado's disastrous first half at Memorial Stadium:
Rough showing on NBC
The last time CU played on NBC I wasn't born yet and this game is making me wish I hadn't been

O-line woes continue
It's kind of stunning how cheeks Colorado's offensive line still is 21 months into Deion's tenure

Struggles in the trenches
Colorado is supposed to be better in the trenches, but they're getting shredded up front on both sides of the ball. Ugly evening to this point for the #cubuffs

"Same script every drive"
I don’t know what to tweet that wasn’t said 30 minutes ago. The lines are getting dominated, it’s the same script every drive. Defense has been somewhere between bad to alright. Where it lies depends on your expectations.
