Nashville Predators lose early lead, get upended by Avalanche for second straight loss

The Nashville Predators' hopes of starting a new points streak with Saturday's matchup at the Colorado Avalanche failed miserably with a 7-4 loss.

Cole Smith, Mark Jankowsi, Dante Fabbro and Gustav Nyquist scored for the Predators. Nyquist also had an assist.

Nathan MacKinnon scored his 46th and 47th goals for the Avalanche and had two assists.

Predators goalie Kevin Lankinen faced 41 shots.
