2024 World Series odds: Were Arizona Diamondbacks disrespected?
USA TODAY Sports: Diamondbacks ranked No. 10 in MLB power rankings
Gabe Lacques writes: "How soon is now for shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar?"
ESPN: DBacks at No. 9 in MLB power rankings
Alden Gonzalez writes: "The D-backs have responded to their surprising World Series run by doubling down, adding Eduardo Rodriguez to the middle of their rotation and injecting Eugenio Suarez and Joc Pederson into the middle of their lineup. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was brought back, too, solidifying left field. Arizona has done a nice job adding the pieces that would make its roster more complete. The concerns it had heading into October about the depth in the rotation and the back end of the bullpen are not nearly as prevalent. The D-backs' biggest question heading into 2024 is more overarching: Are they good enough to once again take down the mighty Dodgers?"

CBS Sports: Diamondbacks come in MLB power rankings at No. 9
Matt Snyder writes: "This is an intriguing ballclub that will go through bouts of inconsistency. There's a lot to like, though. The rotation is much stronger than it was a year ago at this time (the growth of Brandon Pfaadt plus the addition of Eduardo Rodríguez plus no Madison Bumgarner) and the proverbial sky is the limit with Corbin Carroll. Plus, remember how they rebuilt that bullpen down the stretch and it was mostly a plus in the playoffs? The major components there are back."
Bleacher Report: Diamondbacks open at No. 7 in MLB power rankings
Joel Reuter writes: "On the heels of their surprising run to the World Series as an 84-win wild-card team, the Arizona Diamondbacks have added a much-needed No. 3 starter in Eduardo Rodriguez to follow Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly in the rotation. That leaves young right-hander Brandon Pfaadt as the No. 4 starter and an open competition for the fifth spot. Slugger Eugenio Suárez was also acquired to replace departing veteran Evan Longoria at third base, while Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was re-signed on a reasonable three-year, $42 million deal."

The Score: DBacks ranked No. 7 in MLB power rankings
It writes: "The D-Backs followed up their stunning run to the World Series with a tremendous offseason to date. Arizona landed top left-handed starter Eduardo Rodriguez to pair with Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, and Brandon Pfaadt in what could be one of the stronger rotations in baseball. The club re-signed Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and also added slugger Eugenio Suárez."
Sportskeeda: Diamondbacks at No. 8 in MLB power rankings
John Maxwell writes: "Inconsistency has been an issue in Arizona, but the Diamondbacks are a tough team and could well go all the way. Improvements to their rotation and the development of NL ROTY-winner Corbin Carroll could be the difference in 2024."

Draft Kings: Diamondbacks come in at No. 8 in first MLB power rankings
Chris Landers writes: "Write off the Diamondbacks as a fluke if you want, but this team has tons of talent and has spent this offseason filling needs with smart, responsible moves. Brandon Pfaadt’s postseason surge and the addition of Eduardo Rodriguez make this rotation far more formidable, the bullpen should once again be a strength and this is a deeper lineup than you think with Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Joc Pederson in tow."
