Tommy Pham evidently was not a fan of the first half of Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs.

The MLB free agent, who played last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, appeared to leave the game in Las Vegas in the second quarter so he could watch the rest of the contest at home, according to his Instagram stories, which were captured on X.

A photo posted by Pham appears to have been taken from inside Allegiant Stadium in the second quarter. An hour later, Pham posted a photo of him apparently at home, with the caption "Game is better from my couch."

The game did get better in the second half, as the Chiefs turned a 10-3 halftime deficit into a 25-22 overtime win, but was it really better watching it on the couch than in the stadium in Las Vegas?

Social media had thoughts.

MLB free agency rumors are heating up about Pham, who hit three home runs and scored 10 runs in 16 playoff games with the DBacks last season after Arizona traded for him at the MLB trade deadline.

A recent report indicated that Pham could be a candidate to return to the Diamondbacks next season.

If he wants to get off that couch.
