MIAMI GARDENS - The Miami Dolphins hosted the Washington Commanders in a joint practice at training camp on Day 16, Thursday at Baptist Health.

Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and coach Mike McDaniel challenged Jayden Daniels, Austin Ekeler and coach Dan Quinn.

• Commanders LB Bo Bauer was taken by cart to the health facility.

• Tua Tagovailoa had Tyreek Hill for a deep touchdown but overthrew him

• Liam Eichenberg and Daron Payne had words and some shoving

• Jonnu Smith and Andre Jones Jr. had words. It appeared Jones Jr. somehow had his helmet torn off.

• Offensive line coach Butch Barry was imploring the first unit to perform but they were struggling to slow pressure at times.

• It appeared Malik Washington hauled in a long pass but it was broken up at the last minute.

• Daniels found Jamison Crowder over Patrick Morris, then Luke McCaffrey over Storm Duck, both for 8-yard scores.

• Daniels is on fire, finding John Bates over Elijah Campbell.

• RB Chris Rodriguez was thrown for a loss by Neville Gallimore.

• Isaiah Johnson had a pass break-up.

• QBs took turns trying to hit a net in the corner of the end zone from 25 yards out. Only Mike White and Jayden Daniels succeeded, and they each did it just once. If nets could talk trash ...

• Jordan Poyer is working off on the side with a trainer. Jalen Ramsey does not have a helmet. Jaylen Waddle is wearing a hoodie.
