Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill definitely doesn't want to hear Tua Tagovailoa can't throw deep

MIAMI GARDENS — Tyreek Hill had his say on his quarterback Tuesday.

And he wants it to be the last word on this particular topic.

Hill was describing the highlight play of the Miami Dolphins’ joint workout against the Atlanta Falcons. Tua Tagovailoa and Hill got the look they wanted and turned it into the play they wanted: a bomb for a touchdown.

“I don’t know what y’all call that man,” Hill said. “People can’t no longer say that he can’t throw the ball deep, man, because that right there alone showed his improvement from when I first got here to now.

“Like that’s crazy. That’s light years, man. So that’s dope, man.”

As the fans stood and cheered, Hill couldn’t hide his elation. Didn’t even try. Continuing through the end zone, he leaped over the steel barriers and celebrated with fans.

“I’m just working on my touchdown celebration,” he said. “You feel me? And what a day! Feel me? Especially after a beautiful throw down the field by Tua. I got excited. I was feeling the energy, so I decided to work on my touchdown celebration.

“I would rate that one out of 10, though, a three, because I didn’t stick the landing when I jumped over. It’s pretty bad.”
