Memphis Grizzlies sign forward DeJon Jarreau to 10-day contract
The Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday signed Memphis Hustle forward DeJon Jarreau to a 10-day contract.
Jarreau is averaging 17.6 points per game for the Hustle this season. He's the second Hustle player to earn a call-up from the G League to the Grizzlies this season after Matthew Hurt, who had two 10-day contracts with the Grizzlies earlier this season.
The Grizzlies have had a rotating cast of players on 10-day contracts this season as they've constantly needed bodies to help with the injury crisis that has derailed their season. Memphis currently has Wenyen Gabriel on a 10-day contract, and he played 13 minutes in Friday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
There were 10 players out for the Grizzlies for Friday's game.
Jarreau went undrafted out of Houston in 2021 and has played for a few different G League teams.
The Grizzlies are back in action Sunday when they play at Oklahoma City.
