U.S. Olympic gold medal count: Here's every gold medal Team USA won at 2024 Paris Games

Now that the 2024 Paris Olympics are over, the chase for gold has ceased.

There were 329 possible gold medals to win in this year's Summer Games, and while it was impossible to think the United States could win every one of them – Team USA didn't compete in all events – there was an expectation for the Americans to bring home the most golds in the Olympics. The U.S. has won the most gold medals of any country in Olympics history and had the most in the past three Summer Olympics.

And the U.S. didn't disappoint, coming away with 40 gold medals – tied with China for most overall. The USA came away with a record-setting haul of 126 total medals.
